What is the most reliable and profitable method for generating high quality website traffic that converts to buyers?
Well, this one question is a common question that earmarks the concerns of many internet marketers and webmasters. As someone who’s been on the internet for awhile, I get email after email inquiring about the best ways to send high quality, yet cheap traffic to a website.
But what is the secret to cracking this web traffic generation code?
Many of us know that targeted traffic is the lifeblood of your internet business, and if you expect your business to survive, especially in this economy, you need to focus on getting highly targeted traffic that converts to sales.
In reality, when it comes to building a thriving internet business, you need to focus primarily on two things.
1.) Consistently building web traffic to your site so that you can have a continuous flow of customers.
2.) Capturing that traffic in the form of email leads so that you can have an email list that you can leverage whenever needed. Building the asset of a responsive email list is one way you can recession proof your online business.
But as stated already, high quality traffic is the blood that keeps are businesses full of vitality and life. In order to make it through these times, you need traffic!
And you can’t rely on those crooks that say:
Pay $25 and we will send you over 20,000 targeted visitors.
Now $25 for targeted traffic is nonsense! If you are seduced into buying this type of traffic, you’ll definitely get zero sales! No sales and no email leads at all.
This is one of the biggest deceptions going on right now among many online marketers and is the reason behind why so many individuals quit the online marketing world all together.
But here is my suggestion:
Don’t buy traffic from anywhere until you hear from a reliable source on whether or not the quality of the traffic is good and if it brings positive results (sales or email subscribers).
So before you risk any of your money, find out what works for a lot of people. Then if you hear good news about a particular traffic source, then invest your money into that source of traffic. But don’t invest until you do your proper research first.
If you are experimenting with a particular traffic source that has no reviews at all, then you must test this traffic resource by investing only a small amount of your money at first.
If you discover through your testing that it is a bad traffic source, then stay away from it…you only lost a few bucks, so that is good. Next, give back to the online marketing community by warning others not to invest their money in that particular resource.
If it is a good traffic source, then take this traffic source to the next level by investing more of your money into it. Since you’ve proven that the traffic source is reliable, you can pour more money into it, thus generating more traffic from that particular traffic source.
But if you are scared of investing any money at the moment, then I would recommend that you try to build all the free traffic that you can by using legitimate, and reliable traffic tactics.

With all of the spam emails plunging into our inbox everyday, it is much harder to get people to consider opening up our emails. There is so much spam that bypasses the spam filter now that it has placed a major effect on the email open rates of many marketers and legitimate companies. So even though you can build a large email list quickly, you still need to know how to get the most optimal results with every email that you send out. This is why you really need to think outside of the box when it comes to writing email subject lines that trigger people to open and read your message.
So what could you do?
Well, I mentioned in one of my posts a few days ago that a powerful way to snatch up some compelling subject lines is to study the spammers themselves. If you did not read that post yet, you can read it by clicking here.
But even if you choose not to study the spammers, there are still a few types of email subject lines that tend to grab people’s eyes. Listed below are a few methods you can use when writing email subject lines that are compelling.
1. Questions
A lot of individuals feel obligated to open up an email that contains a question as the subject line. If you have built a small relationship with your opt in subscribers, then you can oftentimes phrase your subject line as if you are really asking them a question. Because of the relationship that you already have, the subscriber will feel obligated to at least open your email message to hear what you have to say.
2. Incredible Claim
One tactic that works really well for me involves making an outrageous claim within my email subject line. You need to make an incredible claim that will cause your subscribers to question whether or not you are telling the truth. The spammers use this tactic all the time when they create their subject lines. But when you use this particular tactic of making bold claims, within the email, you must attempt to prove or disprove the claim that was mentioned in the email subject line.
3. Shocking
One way to also get your readers to open your email is to startle them with something that is absolutely shocking. The shock factor is something that has been proven to work when it comes to triggering certain emotions. For one, you want your readers to open your emails, so you will create a shocking subject line and model it around some of the shocking magazine headlines that you’ve read. You can also go to Google and type in ‘shocking news’ in order to get some ideas for some great email subject lines.
There are currently plenty of ways for you to get more people to open your emails. But if you were going to stick to one rule, make sure you keep your subject line fairly long, and as explicit and relevant as possible. It does take practice to discover how to craft the perfect email subject line, but once you master this, you’ll be able to double or even triple your sales.

The key to successful online marketing is simple: you need lots of visitors to come to your website. The amount of traffic your site generates is a good indicator of how successful your online business will be. It can mean the difference in surviving, or thriving, in the competitive online world or getting lost in the multitude. Online marketers are continually searching for innovative ways to attract visitors, but one tool that is often underutilized is the social network MySpace. This article will outline some tips for using this network to magnify your online business and build a gigantice list of prospects that you can tap into.
One way to attract a large audience on MySpace is to make good use of keywords. Be sure to include lots of common keywords in the text on your MySpace page in order to draw targeted web hits to your page when those words are plugged into search engines. More of these words embedded into your page will attract more visitors, which will then lead to more business for you.
Another way to garner a large number of visitors is to make your page exciting and content-rich. Pictures, videos and music will all make your page more attractive to visitors. The more interesting your page is, the more people will want to view it. These types of additions can draw repeat visitors, as well as attract new ones.
A third way to increase traffic to your MySpace profile is to add to your network of friends on the site. A large group of friends who are all interested in the topics on your page is a good way to start attracting more and more prospects to your site. This process can be the internet equivalent to “word of mouth” marketing. Remember, the key is to generate interest in your page and thereby generate interest in your product or service. Increasing your friend network may be the simplest way to add visitors to your site.
Another good tool to utilize for traffic increase is backlinks. The more of these you have between your site and similar ones, the better rankings you can get from search engines. Better rankings equal more visitors. The more paths you can provide for people to reach your site, the better. The ultimate goal is to make it easy for people to get to your page, and, just as importantly, to make them want to get there.
We have reviewed hundreds of tools that will help you build your internet business and increase your website traffic. Because of this, we know what works and we have a pure solution for you that you can access by clicking here.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been pondering on what it takes to really build massive targeted traffic to any website. The issue of not having enough traffic is the major problem that plagues so many internet marketers, and individuals that desire to start an internet business. Over the past 5 years as a full time internet marketer, I’ve been receiving question after question from countless individuals begging me to share my traffic secrets. But to be honest with you, I do not have any major traffic generation secrets to share! Learning how to generate massive targeted traffic is no closed door secret at all. It just takes a steadfast commitment to doing some simple tasks that we all abhor…especially if we do not have any time to spare. Let me explain this in further detail.
As some of you may know, I highly encourage everyone to learn how to build a targeted email list of subscribers. The reason why is because an email is an asset that you can leverage to grow your business exponentially, as well as generate push-button cash whenever you need it. When I need to have some quick cash to pay a bill, I will just send a broadcast email to my list and wait for the cash to come spilling into my paypal account. This is why having an email list is important because it gives you an asset that you can control and make as much money from as possible.
But if you want to learn how to build an email list into the thousands pretty quickly, then you need to pay attention to various methods of traffic generation that will allow you to generate massive targeted traffic. So how can you build huge amounts of traffic to your website if you were starting out?
Well, when it comes to marketing, you must first determine whether or not you want to buy, or create the traffic yourself. Because you landed on this page, I am assuming that you desire to create the massive traffic yourself. So if this is the case, then the first thing you must ask yourself is…..
“What do the websites that generate hundreds of thousands of visitors a month have in common?”
There is one common characteristic that mega trafficked sites have in common. Once you discover what this common characteristic is, then you will finally understand how traffic is really a numbers game.
But to answer the question above, all of the websites in cyberspace that generate 10,000’s of visitors daily have thousands of content pages on them. That is the number one most common characteristic of websites that get a behemoth amount of traffic. Content is the king of the search engines. Search engines feed on unique content and reward traffic to those who give them fresh content often. Therefore, you should aspire to write a few articles a day and post them on a blog. I highly advise that you set up your blog today and begin the process of submitting between 2 to 3 blog posts per day.
Now another common characteristic that I analyzed among highly trafficked websites is that most of these websites have content that can be virally passed around the internet. Word of mouth advertising is one of the best forms of gaining massive exposure for free because you are leveraging others to spread your marketing message all over the place. This type of marketing is known as viral marketing because once your marketing message starts to spread, it will become like an infectious virus that will flood the inboxes of thousands of individuals.
Now the only way you can create this viral nature with your website is when you post high quality, and very appealing unique content on your blog. If you write an interesting, or even controversial post, you can pretty much guarantee that your article will be virally passed around the internet. Controversy is very powerful when it comes to building massive targeted traffic in a short amount of time. So if you are hungry for web traffic, think about stirring up some trouble….and you will definitely get it.
But when it comes to building massive targeted traffic, your focus should be on building as much high quality content as you can. Once you determine in your heart to create very appealing content, not only will you get a ton of traffic from the search engines, but you will also siphon traffic from every corner of the internet due to others recommending or passing along your content to others.
And you will definitely be a fool if you do not try to convert all of this traffic into email leads by squeezing them via an email capture page. Just think about it, if you capture all of this traffic in the form of leads, you will never have to worry about generating another powerful viral mechanism again. You will have an email list of subscribers that you can build a relationship with, thus improving the effectiveness of your marketing.
So here is a quick battle plan for you:
- Setup an email capture page so that you can convert your traffic into subscribers.
- Setup a wordpress blog. You can do this by using Fantastico if you have a cpanel account for your web hosting.
- Work on posting 2 to 3 high quality blog posts every day.
- Make sure you include your link to your email capture page within your blog post so that you can capture all of your traffic.
- After you posted your blog post, you must social bookmark your post in a few social bookmarking sites in order to give your posts some link juice. You can go to socialmarker.com to get this done.
Now that is all it really takes to gain massive targeted traffic. Just stick with this plan and follow if for the next 60 days and I guarantee that you will see some nice results. The problem with many marketers is the lack of consistency. If you just focus on being consistent with the model that I just laid out, you will indeed build a nice traffic stream that will continue to grow every single month.
Since we’ve reviewed hundreds of different traffic generation methods and services, we know the real deal when it comes to building massive web traffic in a decent time. Click here to see what we recommend

For so many years, I used to delete all of those spammy emails that would flood my email inbox. I get about 30 to 50 spam emails every single day and I was tired of seeing all of these emails taking up my email server space. It was just getting ridiculous! But something happened to me that enlightened me deeply about the benefits of spam.
For the past few years working as a full time internet marketer, I did not know that spam had so much to offer me!
Right now, I am in love with spam! And I have my reasons to be.
Do you want to know why?
Well, just think about it. Some of these spammers are geniuses when it comes to writing very compelling email subject lines and ad copy!
Some of their subject lines are so powerful that it pulls you to open up their emails. A lot of these spammers constantly test their email subject lines in order to pull the highest open rate on their emails.
And if it pulls you to open up their spammy emails, imagine what response you can get when you take these creative ideas from these subject lines and use them when sending your emails to your list of opt in email subscribers that actually confirmed to be on your list.
Your open rate and your CTR(click thru rate) will probably skyrocket overnight.
So instead of just hitting delete…delete…every time you see a spam message, just take time to look at the ad copy first. If the ad copy and subject line is creative and compelling, then just create a folder called spammy email subject lines and collect as much copy as you can.
You can then use this swipe file for your own email broadcasts to your list, as well as for your Google Adwords ads….especially the content network! If you really want to improve the CTR and ROI from your Google content network ads, pay attention to spam and swipe their copy! Split test your control ad(original ad) with your new ad(swiped spam ad) and see which ad wins. I can almost guarantee you that the spam ad would put up a good fight!
Feel free to comment on this by telling me what you think about my new love for spam.

After reading a very stimulating post about the importance of monetizing blogs, I thought to myself about the number one thing most bloggers should consider doing when blogging. A lot of bloggers miss this point that I am about to mention completely. They do not recognize the importance of this, nor the profit potential of this one thing that can take your blog traffic, as well as your blog income to the next level.
So what is this thing that I am talking about?
Well, let me be upfront by telling you that it is the number one asset that I truly believe every online marketer should be building.
And that asset is known as the email list.
It is imperative for bloggers to understand that the only way they are going to truly capitalize off of all the traffic coming to their blog is if they capture that traffic in the form of leads or subscribers.
Yaro Starak, of the Blog Mastermind, said it precisely. If you are going to have a blog, you should use it for the specific purpose of funneling targeted traffic to your site so that you can build an email list.
If you do not make an attempt to do this, then I am sorry to say this…but your blogging sucks!
Isn’t the purpose of blogging to build a loyal readership that will frequent your website?
If so, why not capture these leads as email subscribers so that you can pretty much guarantee that these readers would frequently visit your website or blog.
Every post that you create and submit, should in someway, promote your landing page so that you can build your targeted email list.
The reason why so many bloggers with very good traffic do not make a lot of money is because they do not focus on building their list.
Greater trust and relationships can be formed when you continue to provide informative content and newsletters to your email subscribers.
But to end this off, if someone gave me the choice of choosing between 1000 blog subscribers, or 1000 email subscribers….I would choose the 1,000 email subscribers any day.
That is just my take on it.
Please feel free to comment on this.
