Higher Search Engine Rank Increases Customer List

One of the most responsive and primary sources of traffic that you should definitely try to reap is natural search engine traffic. Natural search traffic is the type of traffic that comes from being ranked in the natural listings of the search engines. Search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN supply an almost infinite stream of traffic to websites. I usually make it a goal to generate more search engine traffic to every project I venture into. What I have found out through my testing and tracking of various projects, is that natural search engine traffic converts extremely well into leads and subscribers. So if you want to build a nice customer list, then it is crazy to not even consider building search engine traffic. But in order to siphon a good amount of this traffic to your website, you need to  have a higher search engine rank.

Now to be honest with you, obtaining a higher search engine rank is not as difficult as many SEO experts make it out to be. So often, SEO experts make it sound difficult because their job and livelihood depends on perpetuating the myth that search engine optimization is hard. But it is really so easy that you can teach a 12 year old how to dominate Gogle, Yahoo, and MSN.

So how does the domination take place?

Well, I am going to reveal what you should do in a few steps if you want to get a higher search engine rank in Google and the rest of the search engines:

1. Locate some longtail keywords that you want to create content around.

Longtail keywords are usually 3 to 6 word phrases that allow you to get easy rankings due to you not having to compete with a lot of websites. The less competition makes it easier to get higher search engine rank. So all you have to do is write articles around the longtail keyword phrases that you selected.

2. Setup a Wordpress Blog

This is pretty easy to do if you have a hosting provider that uses cpanel. But there are many videos on youtube that talk about setting up and installing a wordpress blog. So you should definitely do a search on youtube and watch those videos that talk about setting up a Wordpress Blog.

3. Post Content On Blog

The articles that you created on step one will be posted on the blog. Remember, these articles must focus on longtail keyword phrases. So you will submit a blog post for every article that you write. In other words, if you have 7 articles, then that will be 7 seperate blog posts where each blog post will focus on a particular long tail keyword phrase.

4. Social Bookmark Your Blog Posts

Next, you need to social bookmark your blog post on various web 2.0 sites using a service like Social Marker in order to point a few one way backlinks to your blog post. Just go to socialmarker.com and select the sites that you want to bookmark your content in.

5. Submit Articles To Ezine Articles

Finally, what you need to do is submit unique articles to ezinearticles.com for every blog post that you created. Just submit one unique article that will have a link to one of your blog posts within the resource box. This will definitely insure that each of your blog posts get backlinks from a bunch of different websites.

Now that is all it takes to get higher search engine rankings in the search engines. If you follow the steps that I outlined above, then you should be able to get higher search rank or listings for any longtail keyword phrase that you decide to target. And the great thing about it is that the more blog posts that you have targeting longtail phrases, the more larger customer list that you’ll be able to build.

So begin implementing this now if getting more subscribers and customers is important to you!
