Internet Marketers Can Stimulate This Poor Economy
I have to admit that for the last few days, I haven’t done any work in order to progressively grow my internet business. I did not write any articles, create any Web 2.0 pages, submit any online videos…I pretty much did nada! Because of this lack of work, I literally saw a daily significant decrease in the amount of subscribers I usually get when building my precious email list.
And the sad part is that I usually outsource most of this work so that I can have it done semi-automatically. But I did not have time to outsource anything right now due to some other unimportant stuff that has taken up most of my time.
For the past 3 days, I’ve been moving around trying to shop for some decent office furniture. I am currently looking for good office furniture and equipment that will not put a deep hole in my pocket.
The good news is that I found a warehouse that sells equipment and furniture for dirt cheap!
All you have to do is go to a major company within your town or city and request for any information on office equipment and office furniture that they are no longer using. A lot of huge companies just throw away high quality office furniture and equipment if no one comes and picks them up. Therefore, if you are trying to get a good deal on office supplies and equipment, make sure you contact a bunch of companies within your town to see if you can purchase the stuff for really cheap.
But let me get to the point of this message before I decided to write a post on how to shop for the best deals.
Now let me start off by saying that the game of internet marketing is really changing!
Especially during this time that we are living in since everyone is screaming from the top of their lungs….Recession…Recession!
During these times, people are more cautious when it comes to their money, so they do not spend as readily as they used to. I saw this drop in sales occur for some of the niche markets that I am currently in as an affiliate.
The only niche or market that is converting quite well for me right now is the internet marketing/make money niche market. I believe this is due to the fact that people are trying to look for alternative ways to generate income and get out of the rate race.
Because of this failing economy, people are frantically looking to secure their future by generating an additional stream of income. A lot of people are scared, and they want to find a way to bring a little comfort to their finances.
This is why I believe every internet marketer should make an attempt to help this desperate crowd by providing helpful information that will indeed place them on the right path towards making a nice income via the internet.(Wow…what a run-on sentence!).
But we need to get out of the closet, stop hiding, and provide some true value to those who want financial liberation!
We need to do a lot of teaching, while at the same time providing products and services for much cheaper than what we usually offer.
Eventhough people will continue to spend money for your internet marketing products and services at your usual price, you should lower the price of your products so that you can give back to society, as well as boost the economy through online marketing.
Let me explain this in further details.
If you lower the price of your internet marketing courses and books, you will eventually place your valuable material in more individual’s hands. More people will take advantage of the material and really try to apply it. The bad economy provides people the motivating factor to do something about their finances, thus causing your customers to really apply the material in your course.
If more people apply your course material, more individuals will make money.
And the more money people have, the more income they can use to….
1. Pay off their debts
2. Go shopping for things they desire.
Just those two actions above can stimulate the economy to move in the right direction.
The more money spent in the market, the more businesses will prosper and the more money they will have to pay their employees.
So you see what could possibly happen if all of us internet marketers strip ourselves from our greed and begin giving some real value away for free or for a decent affordable price? It can possibly turn this whole economy around!
That is why I made the resolve to give away as much valuable information as I possibly can when it comes to making money as an internet marketer.

That information is fine and all, but it really only pertains to IM’ers who have been profiting.

I agree with you. I see quite a fair number of gurus in the IM niche placed their interest much higher than their customers.
Of course entering the IM niche is to make money, yet I believe it should be balanced off with values delivery to customers.
I’m still on the mailing lists of those who week in and out only keen to promote products as a way to remind myself
Don’t behave like them.
Work for the community and money will come.
Instead of lowering prices, why not consider interest free instalment options, to help out those who are keen to learn. Or perhaps even include more valuable stuff for the same price. Just some thoughts directly out of my head.

I agree with helping out the little people, the ones struggling. We live in an abundant universe, the ones holding all the cards are greedy banksters and corporate criminals who control all the $$$ in the world, and the Govt’s allow it. So power to the people, start helping each other out, where’s that community spirit ? Videos are cheap as chips to produce, I’d like to see more step by step examples of HOW to get things up and running, and cheaply

Learning how to make the transition is intimidating and there are a lot of “newbies” looking for information. My mission is to get the elementary foundation of that education out to them. This is a very nice concept. I am a sort of “newbie” and struggling myself with making money online. (Most of it’s no one’s fault but my own. I started a blog for other “newbies” and it’s mostly all free products and resources to help them get started and helping them avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made. Hopefully some of them will be able to use the info and the resources and run with them.
I like what you had to say about the emails you get from certain marketers that only promote and never offer any content, etc. I have certain marketers I don’t even open their stuff anymore because I know from them that is all it is.
Melvin, I like your idea. I’m new at IM but have started with the idea of finding as much free or low-cost material as possible to give to other people just getting started on the net. As of yet I haven’t built a list, but am using this concept to get started.
My contribution to the economy will be to lease some office space.
I don’t know about you guys but I do not like doing this from home. I like having an office outside of the house.
There’s some office space available about 1.5 miles from my house and I am getting one of those spaces.
