Building a targeted email list of subscribers around the target market of the particular residual program that you are promoting, will help you out tremendously when it comes to building residual income for your choosen program. With an email list, you can follow up with your prospects and subscribers multiple times in order to persuade them to join the program. Having an email list increases your probability of making more money with your residual income program. So your primary concern, when building an internet business should always be the email list. Besides, you’ve probably heard hundreds of times already that the money is in the list. You can send an email to your list and almost everytime, guarantee yourself that people will consider joining the continuity program that gives you residual commissions. When I decided to focus on building a targeted email list, my income grew by leaps and bounds.

But let me just list the steps for you in plain details so that you can see how easy it is to setup residual income streams.

1. Discover a desperate market that is filled with problems.

2. Locate a residual income program that provides a solution to the problem. Make sure you join that program as an affiliate so that you can earn residual commissions.

3. Setup a lead capture page so that you can collect the name and email address of the visitors that land on your email capture page. The email capture page must focus on the particular problem that the target market is having. The page must have good ad copy, convincing the visitor to hand over their name and email in exchange for some information that will totally free them from their problem.

4. Create a followup email series in your autoresponder that will provide outstanding advice, while at the same time advising them to join the residual/continuity program if they want more details and help.

5. Send targeted traffic to your landing page through various traffic mediums. This is the part where you promote like crazy. You should focus on setting up ppc campaigns, article marketing, video marketing on youtube and other web 2.0 sites, craigslist marketing, etc…. The key is to tap into a few reliable traffic sources and then continue building traffic via those sources. Building targeted traffic to your email capture page is an everyday responsibility.

But if you just follow the 5 steps above, then you should easily be able to really build a nice residual income stream within the first 45 days. It just takes a little hard work and determination to see the results that we all desire. But keep building traffic to that landing page, and I guarantee you that you will see your residual income grow from month to month.
