Getting More Web Site Traffic Takes Some Massive Action!
In order for your business to stay afloat during the next few months, you need to be able to bring in a constant stream of growing customers every single day.
It is not enough nowadays, to just market heavily to your current customers. You need to increase the flow of customers that you inject into your sales funnel so that you can see your profits increase from month to month.
But one tragedy that I discovered from a lot of internet marketers is that they would have one successful launch…and then 2 months later, their traffic dries up and they are not making squat! This happens so many times that I am used to hearing these rags to riches and back to rags again stories.
One JV launch day or week won’t do it anymore!
Now do not be mistaken, you can build a large email list during your launch week, and make some nice money promoting affiliate offers.
But overtime, if you are not sending new leads into your business, you will eventually see the response to your broadcast emails drop. After a few weeks or few months, the very subscribers you generated during your super launch week begin to unsubscribe, and you’re then wondering what happened to your affiliate sales as they begin to drop all of a sudden!
Just like membership sites, email lists have retention rates also!
And if a subscriber feels as if he or she is not getting enough value for being on your email list, they are going to do the predictable…hit unsubscribe!!
And I encourage you to do this if you feel that you are not getting any value from the newsletters and email lists that you are subscribed to. I gladly give you permission to do so!
Because I am getting sick and tired of seeing this crazy trend that is getting out of control when it comes to marketers and their email lists! So unsubscribe to them all if you are not getting any value!
Okay…I said it…but I will definitely explain more in a later blog post. I definitely have a lot to say about this topic.
But to get back on topic, if you expect to see your internet business and profits grow each month, you must continue to:
1.) Provide value to your customers and subscribers
and…
2.) Make an effort to add new leads/customers into your business every single day…NO Exceptions!
Now the focus of this blog post is to show you what I believe to be the most sure-fire and guaranteed way of getting a constant stream of potential customers to your website.
The most effective way to get an unending stream of visitors to your business is to provide as much helpful media as possible to as many online publications as you can find. Any informative information that comes in the form of written content, audio content, and video content, can be referred to as media. The media right now, that has the widest distribution, is the content (text) media, due to the fact that it has been around longer than the other types of online media. Because of this, I get good traffic results when I take advantage of the various written content distribution channels on the internet.
Right now, there are thousands of publications that are craving for articles on the topic of your business. There are countless newsletters, ezines, magazines, blogs, websites, and other publishing mediums that exist for the sole purpose of publishing other author’s articles, so that they can make money selling advertising space.
So in order for these mediums to have content so that they can continue to sell advertising space, these mediums are desperately looking for article contributors to send them high quality content to post within their publications.
Therefore, since you know this, your job should be to provide as much informative content as you can so that you can appear in their publication.
Now before I move forward, let me also state that I am getting outstanding results submitting video media to the various video distribution channels as well. This is due to the fact that we are now living in the web 2.0 video age. I am a firm believer that in the near future, video will have a much wider distribution channel than written content. So because of this, one of my strategies right now, is to focus heavily on both, written content and video content.
I write articles every day, as well as record videos every day. And I submit these 2 types of media to as many publication sites as possible. Doing this everyday places my content in the eyes of thousands of viewers.
This is literally FREE advertising at its best, especially if you know how to do it the right way.
When you are creating your content (both written and video content), it is imperative that you adhere to these 2 requirements:
1. Do not try to sell! Just think about teaching. Your goal is to provide content that teaches the reader something. Trying to sell within your content will ruin this whole traffic generation process. So do not do it. The reason why these publishers don’t won’t blatant advertisements in the articles submitted is because they know that high quality content is what captures their reader’s interest. And if they can capture the loyalty of a huge fan base of readers due to all the top notch content, then they can sell a lot of advertising space for some decent profits because of the large readership. So your job is to help them with their content problem by providing the best value when it comes to articles. If you choose to help them out, then they will definitely return the favor by helping you out and giving you massive exposure. This is the reciprocal nature of life itself…Give and it shall be given back to you!
2. Syndicate and distribute as much unique content as you can to as many publishers as you can. One huge problem with many marketers that jump into article marketing is that they assume that all you have to do is post your article to hundreds of directories and wah lah…instant traffic and sales! This is the dumbest approach to article marketing that I’ve heard. Now do not get me wrong. You should submit your article to as many directories as you can for the purpose of building one way backlinks. If SEO is something that you are doing, then you should most certainly submit unique versions of your articles to the various directories. You can find a great article submission tool right here that will do all of this for you.
But the real power of article marketing is when you submit your articles to real publications that have an enormous pool of people that are interested in the topic that you are targeting. So the key to article marketing is in contacting real publishers. In order to do this, you have to acquire the name and email address of various publishers within your niche and send them your article via email.
But you just can’t send it to a few publishers. You must submit your article to hundreds of publishers that are in desperate need of articles so that they can continue to sell advertising space.
Now there is a tool that will help you get the contact name and email address of thousands of publishers and send them your article. I wasn’t really going to promote this, since this is somewhat of a secret weapon.

I agree with your views in relation to signing up to several email lists.
The main issue is the emails take up so much time just to read through and force many into the never ending buying spiral.
I am in the process of unsubscribing from a lot of them as I just havent got the time to read them all and they’re becoming a distraction.
Yes I send out emails but I am very selective as to what I send and dont hammer subscribers as I see other marketers do when ANY product is launched
